Returns Policy

RETURNING GOODS

Please complete the form in the product return form to request an RMA number. Only when you have been issued an RMA number from DoyleFireShop.ie can goods be returned.

Any used products will not be accepted for refund or exchange. If you wish to return any goods which are not faulty, we require notification within 2 working days and we will accept returns up to 7 working days after you have received the goods.

The goods must be unused, unopened and in the same condition in which they were delivered. We reserve the right to charge a 15% handling/re stocking fee. Delivery charges are not refundable.

PLEASE NOTE: The cost and responsibility of returning non faulty or unwanted goods will also be the responsibility of the customer. We can arrange this on your behalf but the cost will be deducted from you credit. We will only issue the credit once the goods are returned to us and we have agreed that the goods and packaging are in a satisfactory re-sellable condition and have not been used.

Whilst we will make every attempt to remedy this type of situation, we must emphasise it is everyone's interest to ensure the correct products are being ordered and are suited for your particular requirements.

WARRANTY RETURNS

All fire extinguishers carry a 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee provided they are inspected annually in accordance with current British Standards by a competent person.

Any extinguisher that needs to be returned under warranty conditions will be subject to inspection upon receipt at our depot. A repair or replacement unit will be provided free of charge provided these terms have been adhered to.

We reserve the right to charge a handling charge for any unit returned that does not subsequently meet with these requirements.

Prior to any return please contact us via email with full details of the reason for the return.

DAMAGED GOODS - MISSING ITEMS

Please check for damages immediately before signing for the goods. If any damage is found, this must be noted on the courier's paperwork before signing for the goods. Otherwise the courier will not accept responsibility and will not process any claims for damages meaning you will not be able to receive a replacement or refund from us.

You can also refuse damaged goods without signing for these. Any transport damage found after the courier has left, is not covered and claims cannot be processed. We reserve the right to remedy the situation by sending replacement parts if possible.

Customer satisfaction is important to us and therefore we prioritise replacing damaged / incorrect products and endeavour to do so within 2 working days subject to stock levels. We will arrange a convenient date for collection of the goods for return. It is the responsibility of the customer to make the products available for collection on the pre-arranged date. We reserve the right to charge for subsequent attempts to collect any goods not made available for collection.

If you return an item as "damaged" which is subsequently found not to be you will be liable for the delivery charges where applicable. All goods are checked and packaged for safe transit. We make every effort to deliver our goods in an undamaged condition.

Any missing items must be reported to DoyleFireShop.ie within 5 working days of the delivery date, otherwise the delivery will be classed as complete and correct.

REFUNDS

Refunds are made to the credit or debit card that was used to place the order and a credit receipt will be sent. Please note we reserve the right to impose a 10% handling charge on all returns.
